The United States Constitution
[b. 1787 - d. 2010]


The Working Minds Philosophy of Empowerment began with existentialism and Objectivism (Ayn Rand) but soon moved into economics and to politics. The U.S. Constitution was created in 1787 and ratified in 1788, and cancelled by the U.S. Supreme Court on 21 January 2010 – the United States is today a fascist country, and the activist push by this Working Minds website is largely about restoring constitutional rule in America.

We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

13th Amendment to The U.S. Constitution
Section 1. Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted,
shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.
Section 2. Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.

The 13th Amendment, abolishing slavery in America, was declared to be in effect on 18 December 1865.

14th Amendment to The U.S. Constitution
The 14th Amendment, guaranteeing due process of law, was declared to be in effect 28 July 1868.

16th Amendment to The U.S. Constitution
The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment
among the several States, and without regard to any census or enumeration.

The 16th Amendment, allowing a federal income tax, was passed by Congress on 12 July 1909 and submitted to the
state legislatures; it was declared ratified on 25 February 1913 and the Revenue Act of 1913 was enacted shortly thereafter .

19th Amendment to The U.S. Constitution
1920 Aug 18: The 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which guarantees the right of all American women to vote, was ratified when Tennessee became the 36th state to approve it.
The 19th Amendment, guaranteeing the right to vote for women in the U.S.A., was declared to be in effect 26 August 1920.
Women's Equality Day on August 26th [est. 1971] celebrates the 19th Amendment and promotes a new Equal Rights Amendment.
